Put me in, coach

Support your team’s skills development with one-on-one coaching sessions to solve real problems.

Do you have a great team that just needs a little support to get to the next level in their technical skills? We have found great success providing our clients with ongoing coaching to support this kind of situation. Consensus strives to empower our clients to move projects forward with confidence, and we love to transfer knowledge and expertise directly to your team!

Unblock progress

Some technical problems can be stubborn, especially if you haven’t dealt with that kind of challenge before. With persistence, you’ll eventually be able to find a solution. This sort of research, and trial-and-error experimentation leads to a deeper understanding of the related technologies. However, it can also be very time-consuming and thus incur unexpected delays and expenses.

Our experts have all been down that road before, and you can benefit from that experience!

In coaching engagements, we set up recurring scheduled work sessions. That way, whenever you run into a stubborn problem, you can just set it aside, confident that our expert will be able to help you overcome it; saving both time and aggravation.

Building capacity

Focused training sessions and courses can be an excellent part of your team’s professional development. In our experience, training is often complemented extremely well by 1:1 coaching sessions that:

  • Provide hands-on experience supported by a skilled professional;
  • Allow for individual questions and tailored topics for your needs; and
  • Address specific, real-world problems you are facing.

We typically schedule a series of “pairing” sessions where we work together with you to build capacity to:

  • Analyse and document requirements and use cases
  • Use and maintain a local development environment
  • Develop deployment automation code, configuration and documentation
  • Configure and manage Continuous Integration (CI) automation
  • Create and extend automated tests and fixtures
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Structure and publish developer and administrator documentation
  • Plan, execute and support staging and production deployments of application code and infrastructure
  • Collaboratively work towards developing or troubleshooting any number of technical challenges!

If you’d like to build your capacity to take on the next challenge your team is facing, talk to us about a coaching engagement to supporting that goal!
